Evin Rothschild
I grew up in sunny South Florida until starting as an undergraduate at Cornell University in 2017. At Cornell, I study biological sciences and government, with the hopes of continuing research in the field of medicine after graduation in 2021. I started working in the Parrish Laboratory during the Fall of 2018 and have enjoyed my time here learning about viral evolution. On campus and in the Ithaca community, I am also involved as a biological sciences advisor, captain of the women’s club lacrosse team, volunteer at Cayuga Medical Center, and a health policy analyst for the Roosevelt Institute.
In the laboratory, I currently am working on equine H3N8 genome sequencing and analysis, but have previously worked with canine parvovirus, as well.
