I am Femi Adu, a Ph.D. graduate student in the Parrish Lab, under the BBS PhD program. I hold a B.Tech. in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria, and an M.S in Animal Biosciences from the University of Edinburgh, UK, funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC), UK.

My research interests are around the subject of host-viral interactions, with a view to identify novel factors (cellular/pathogen) that could serve as potential therapeutic targets. My projects are examining the use of alternative receptors for influenza viruses, and understanding the B cell and antibody responses to parvovirus capsids. Outside of the lab, I play tennis and a little bit of soccer.
